Wearing a tie-dyed lab coat, Linda is an inspiring workshop presenter. Her program for author visits, "HOW AN IDEA BECOMES A BOOK", has been enjoyed by hundreds of teachers and students all over the country.
Her workshops for teachers present projects that tie into educational standards in language arts. Her staff development program, "HOW TO TEACH WHAT YOU HAVE TO THE WAY YOU WANT TO", is for new as well as experienced elementary teachers. This program presents a classroom organization that emphasizes language arts, independence, and group dynamics.
Linda's single-day classroom "CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOPS" present specific projects to students and teachers, and help students develop rough drafts. Her multi-day workshops include follow-up activities with students and teachers, from rough drafts to finished projects.
